She showed up at my door She wasn’t alone at all She hid from me her core She hid behind a wall Her outfit was all cold Her face a bright flower field But from her lips were lies she told And thorns that hurt, not healed Cardboard girl, oh cardboard girl Where’s your future bound? Cardboard girl, oh cardboard girl Your nature’s nowhere to be found I welcomed her with open arms She was my dreamed desire She threw love to me on the wind And stamped out my lonely fire Her story was a picture book While a ballad was my song But once inside I took a look And I saw where I went wrong Cardboard girl, oh cardboard girl Where’s your future bound? Cardboard girl, oh cardboard girl Your nature’s nowhere to be found She told me she had passion But in what way and what fashion? She looked me right in my own eyes And she put on a disguise She said could see far And showed how high she set that bar But she really had no drive at all So she never stood up tall Cardboard girl, oh cardboard girl Where’s your future bound? Cardboard girl, oh cardboard girl Your nature’s nowhere to be found And as the water washed over her before my eyes She melted on that lonely day and then I realized Her entire existence had nothing to say She was never really there anyway And now I wonder how she feels And who she stands up to Talking as if she were real And standing stiff as glue She’s got her life cut out for her Like she was from a box She’s stuck in a endless capital stir And drowning on the rocks Cardboard girl, oh cardboard girl Where’s your future bound? Cardboard girl, oh cardboard girl Your nature’s nowhere to be found

~Man From The Circus~ Brother won’t you help me Brother where have you gone Brother why did you go down When the man from circus came to town Where were you when I needed you Why did you fade from view Why’d you always bring me down When you’d one day become a clown Brother what’s your name now Brother how bad does it hurt Brother why are you nowhere Why are you scattered everywhere Where were you when I needed you Why did you fade from view Why’d you always bring me down When you’d one day become a clown ~The Circus (instrumental)~ ~Who Do You Love~ Who do you love? Who do you love? Is it her or is it him? Do you like where you have been? The other day I came over to your home and I looked into your eyes You said you had some things to do You told me lots of lies Then you went outside and you met with him And he filled your glass up to the rim You removed your disguise so passionately And the two of you went at it with so much glee Who do you love? Who do you love? Is it her or is it him? Do you like where you have been? Who do you love? Who do you love? You may think that you had chose well But they’d both send you to hell Then you bagged him up and stashed him away And you told her you had so much to say You pulled her close, whispered in her ear “You’re really the only one for me, dear” Then you loved her hard, til she turned all red But later on she found him in your bed Then you burned her down as she stood up tall And she loved him dearly while she watched you fall Who do you love? Who do you love? Is it her or is it him? Do you like where you have been? Who do you love? Who do you love? Is it her or is it him? Do you like where you have been? Who do you love? Who do you love? Is it her or is it him? Do you like where you have been? Who do you love? Who do you love? You may think that you had chose well But they’d both send you to hell

Everyone I know Was here But when the day ended They couldn’t hear As I watched them all It was clear One day I like them Would disappear

Rain Star 08:21
Heart racing, myself pacing I sit and wait out the storm The moon hangs in the sky, the ground’s not very dry Let the cold depart, make way for the warm Lights in the sky, burning so bright I wait for the morning sun Lightning swirls around, lightning strikes the ground Then my eyes are ripped right from skull Slowly drifting, always lifting I’m suspended in the air Everything is born, while everything is gone While nature starts the cycle all over again
5.
Unempty 01:55
Won’t you please leave me unempty Please don’t let me go First you gave me things unending But you never let me know Oh you made me feel so lonely You cast me out on a ledge You taught me to hate the helpful And to die an early death Now I’m feeling so unempty Since I let you go You’re the worst thing to ever happen But still I love you so Oh still I love you so
